LYLA builds its menu around a combination of line caught fish & sustainable shellfish sourced from the Scottish Isles as well as working with the best UK farms to source organic meats and vegetables, we have established many relationships with foragers and growers abound.

The kitchen will serve you a multi course tasting menu with natural representations of our findings. The foundation of our menu is to bring you a taste of Scotland in our capital city.

Our relationships with foragers and growers allows us to include the very best ingredients.

Guests will be invited to start their evening in our drawing room which will offer a concise list of apéritifs & our champagne trolley featuring Krug Champagne and a selection of small grower selections. 

You will then be served a few snacks to start the evening, sat at our chefs table chatting about the evening ahead, with views of Edinburgh city.

Our evening will continue back down on the ground floor, to start our 10 course menu, dishes will be finished at the table whilst you watch the chefs work from the open kitchen.

Dinner

Our 10 course tasting menu is served Wednesday to Saturday evening from 7pm.
It is priced at £165 per head.

Lunch

For lunch, Friday and Saturday afternoon only, we serve a 5 course tasting menu for £65 per head.

Reservations

Please note:

We offer tables for 1 to 4 guests in the dining room.

If you’re unable to find availability, please send us an email on reservations@lylaedinburgh.co.uk 

If you wish to amend or cancel your reservation, please do so via the link on your confirmation email. We require 72 hours notice of any cancellations.

Upon booking please do let us know the name and preferred title for you and your guests.

Please be aware that we cannot accommodate vegetarian or vegan diets, or menus completely free of milk protein, eggs, fish and shellfish. We do offer gluten free alternatives and can alter to suit pescatarian diets and nut allergies.

Unfortunately, due to the terms of our licence we cannot allow children under the age of 5.
